Without our team of customer service personnel, we just couldn’t do what we do – people like Robbie Donaldson, who’s been with Gekko for more than five years now! We caught up with him to find out what his day-to-day looks like, and why he’s loving life at Gekko…
Hi Robbie! Tell us a bit about your role at Gekko:
Hello! I came to Quin in 2016. My official role is order processor but that also involves helping with customer service and finance. I am usually one of the main points of contact for all our customers, and I’m heavily involved in answering queries, providing advice and ironing out any problems they might be experiencing.
What makes you stick with Gekko?
Five years on, my favourite aspect of working at Quin is still the team. The Gekko team is full of great people who help to make the work enjoyable. I really enjoy the customer-facing aspects of my role too – it’s always satisfying to feel like you can help.
And when you’re not talking about market-leading adhesives – how do you relax?
In my spare time I love to go to the gym – it’s basically my second home and I find it’s great for clearing the head. When I want some proper downtime I’ll watch a movie, I’m a big fan of film.
